England, 1800.

When Isabelle, the daughter of the estate, tries to elope with Henry, the seamstress's son, she is caught and killed. Henry despairingly sews up her wounds and hangs himself over her body on a scarecrow pole. His sacrifice brings her back to life, while his body transforms into a scarecrow, his soul embodied in the form of a falcon. She repeats his sacrifice trapping them in a perpetual cycle. neither one is prepared to exist without the other but only one can live. Desperately they strive to break the curse.
